Sunday Mornings At RSC
Ø On the next two Sundays, Feb. 19 and 26, we are looking at the story from John 4 about the woman at the well, her encounter with Jesus, and what she did as a result. Read John 4 and bring your Bible to church this Sunday. On February 26, we will encourage each other to commit to do what she did: tell people what Jesus has done for each of us and how they can find Him. Ø Each One Reach One – Each RSC attender is asked to bring at least one new person to church this March/April/May. Start inviting friends and neighbors now. Starting in March, we have 13 Sundays (March/April/May) that will be excellent times of worship for you to invite a friend. Ø On the four Sundays in March, we will take the four phrases in the song,Amazing Grace, and use them as titles for four messages that explain how good the Good News is. · March 4 Amazing Grace How Sweet The Sound John 8:1-11 · March 11 That Saved a Wretch Like Me John 3, Numbers 21, Ephesians 2 · March 18 I Once Was Lost But Now Am Found Luke 15 · March 25 Was Blind But Now I See Mark 10:46, 1 Peter 2:9 Ø April 1st is Palm Sunday. Pastor Jimmy and our River Springs Worship Team will lead us in a special service at the cross. On April 8th we will have an exciting Resurrection Celebration at 10:25 a.m. on Easter. Ø On the Sundays after Easter, we will engage in a special series to help us with relationships, marriage, parenting, and family. Ministry Needs Ongoing: We need a Preschool Coordinator to organize and manage our rotation of Sunday morning volunteers. Ongoing: We need more volunteers for our Sunday morning preschool rotation. We are waiting until February 26 to resume the class. On that night we will hear from Jeff and Karla Drake about their trip to Israel. The children’s class, Route 66, and preschool care during the study will also start back on February 26. Wednesday Night Life Groups Life groups are about discipleship in the context of fellowship. In a life group you will learn and grow to be more like Christ while you enjoy a family of friends. In real fellowship, you can know and be known, engage in ministry, and put yourself in position to be ministered to. Life Groups meet on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Childcare/Kidventure are provided at the church for preschoolers and children (babies through 5th grade) at 6:45.
