Expert Bible Teaching followed by Small Groups |
“10:25” reminds church members of Hebrews 10:25.
During the Sunday 10:25 worship service, our Preschool Ministry provides a warm, caring atmosphere with excellent teachers for children birth through kindergarten. Parents should check in their preschoolers before the 10:25 worship starts.
We now have a Children’s Worship time for children in 1st through 5th grades. It’s called Kid’s Klub. School aged kids are invited to come to worship at 10:25 with their parents and then, after the puppets and a song, the children will exit together to go to Kid’s Klub. It’s a great time of fun learning about the Bible and God’s love for us.
Giving tithes and offerings to God is an important part of worship, so we receive the offering early in the service, just before the message. Worshippers are invited to have offering envelopes and connection cards ready.
Wednesday Bible Study & Small Groups
7:00 – 7:45 p.m.
We invite all adults and youth to come to Bible study at 7:00 in the big worship room at River Springs. Pastor Tim will teach the Bible. Our Senior Pastor is a seminary (Masters degree) graduate with 25 years experience. He is particularly gifted in explaining how the ancient text relates authoritatively to modern disciples. Sometimes the lesson will be a follow-up to the Sunday sermon. Most often it will be a verse-by-verse walk through the New Testament. Learners will grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures, and this will dramatically equip them for the Holy Spirit to bring spiritual growth to their lives.
7:50 – 8:30 p.m.
Small groups will meet for fellowship and prayer. Sometimes they will talk about the Bible lesson they just studied. Mostly, small group members will share prayer requests and items of praise with group members who become close friends. Members will go to the same small group each week. These friendships help spiritual growth and make life more enjoyable. Some of these groups will meet in classrooms at the church for convenience; some will meet in homes close by. Just come to the big room on any Wednesday night and we’ll help you find the right small group for you.
6:45 – 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday Night Childcare: drop off your kids at the preschool desk at or after 6:45. Babies through K5 enjoy playtime and music time with quality adult and youth baby sitters. Children in first grade through fifth grade go to the end of the hall to the new Kid’s Klub room for a great time of games, music, and learning about the Bible. Field trips/special nights will really spice up Wednesday Night Kid’s Nite.
v CrossTraining – Youth small groups meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. It’s called CrossTraining and youth in 6th grade through 12th grade are encouraged to come to the church for a multi-dimensional multi-faceted multi-multi great time of fun, fellowship and learning. Youth Pastor Kelley Marsh at kelleymarsh@wildblue.net .
