Financial Peace Sunday Nights 6 p.m. starting Feb. 10.: What could the people of God do for the Kingdom of God if they were debt free? Do you long for financial peace? Beginning Sunday, February 10th, RSC will offer Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, a 13-session, life-changing program that empowers and teaches you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and experience a total money makeover. Church-wide Fellowship Meal: Wednesday, February 13th, 6:30 p.m. Join us for a night of fun fellowship including a fun game to celebrate the season of LOVE. We’ll send the little ones down the hall for a few minutes while we share in communion.
Welcome Wagon Tryouts: Ever wondered what we do on Welcome Wagon visits? Come & try it out on Sunday, February 10 at 3:45! We’ll team you with someone who’s done it before and you can try out being part of River Springs’ Welcome Wagon. We’ll meet back at the church at 5:00 to share our experiences. Prayer Ministry: Starting on Monday mornings at the church at 6:30 am we’ll be getting together for about 30 - 45 minutes to pray over the prayer requests of the church. Come and join us!
Women’s Ministry Hey Girls! Got some ideas for the Women’s Ministry at RSC?? Want to hear more about upcoming events and service projects?? Then whip up about 2 dozen of your favorite cookies for the welcome wagon and bring them to RSC on Saturday, February 9th from 7:00 – 8:30pm. Even if you can’t bring cookies, come and we’ll make the cookies look pretty for our new neighbors and we’ll discuss all sorts of things for the Women’s Ministry of RSC! Your opinions are very important to the growth of this ministry!
Ladies Love Sparkly Things: SHE, the women's ministry of RSC, is having a jewelry making night at Beads, Etc. on February 21st at 7pm. The cost is free except for the beads you purchase to make your earrings, bracelet and necklaces you choose to make while we're there! Beth Moore Simulcast at RSC: RS has the awesome honor of hosting Living Proof Live the Simulcast on August 1-2, 2008. Beth Moore’s life-transforming Bible study challenges and inspires women of every age, everywhere and the inspiring worship music of Travis Cottrell is not to be missed. This event, open to 200 women, will sell out so we are giving the women of RS until February 24th to purchase their tickets in advance. The cost is $35 for both days. Greeters: Do you like to meet new people? Are you interested in becoming part of a ministry team for the church but not sure where to begin? Then come be a part of our greeters team on Sunday mornings. We are looking for people of all ages to help greet new people as they come in, or work at an information table. If interested please see Sandra Evans or signup at the information table at the back of the worship room.
Attention DR Members: It’s been almost 3 years since our initial team training and it is time to re-certify. You have two options in the near future for disaster relief training. The 1st opportunity is in Myrtle Beach the weekend of Friday, February 29 and Saturday March 1st. Your 2nd opportunity will be in North Augusta, March 28-29. Contact Avery Fox at 749-7956 for more info. It is not necessary to attend both days of training, nor both weekends.

- Sunday Morning Bible Study, 9:15-10:00am Open for all students grades 6-12. Come have breakfast with us!
- CrossTraining: Sunday evenings from 6-8pm. Open for all students grades 6-12. Meet for fun, games, food and relevant bible study. We equip students to light up a dark world!
- HS Girls Small Group: 7-8:15pm every Tuesday @ the Crosby home. Restricted to high school girls only. Join us as we discuss "Every Young Woman's Battle" in dating, purity and temptation.
And now here are the extras we've got planned for February:
- Feb. 9th Movie Night! meet @ church 6:45pm, bring $1.50 for movie we'll drive to the cheap seats together for a 7-something showing and return around 9:30.
- Feb. 15-18th SKI TRIP!! Pick up a flyer and get your deposit in soon.
- Feb. 22nd Winter Jam! We will meet at the Church at 5pm sharp. Bring a sack supper & drink to eat on the way or extra $ for food in the food court during the concert. Don't be late!! We want good, up front seating, so we gotta get there early!!

Feb. 24th Paint & Pizza Party: Immediately following worship, join us in the youth room for pizza and a fresh coat of paint. This will be the first of many updates we'll be doing to our youth room! Bring a change of clothes and $5 for pizza. Till 2pm.
