At River Springs Church, we believe that life is best lived in an environment of meaningful, authentic friendships where every person has the opportunity to know one another and to be known by others.  As human beings, we were not designed to walk through life by ourselves.  To truly experience life at its best, it is important to find a place where we can connect with others and walk through this life journey together.  Only in this context will we truly be able to understand what it means to live a life of purpose, meaning, and true significance.

It is our goal for people to come to faith in Jesus Christ and grow in their relationship with Him.  When Jesus was asked to name the most important command in the entire Bible, he named two: Love God & love people (Matthew 22:37-40).  We divide these people Jesus referred to into 2 categories: those within the faith and those outside the faith.  We ask our members to do these things by pursuing 3 vital connections: 

• Intimacy with God
• Community with other believers
• Influence outside our doors

life.groups are RSC’s way of pursuing these connections.

It is our sincere desire for life.groups to be the heartbeat of River Springs.  life.groups are River Springs Church’s way of connecting people with God through Jesus Christ, and connecting others in an authentic community of faith.  It is through life.groups that our church will continue to feel personal in the midst of growth. life.groups are small groups that meet in homes around our area to study the Bible and meet each other's needs. Each life.group is designed to meet its members' needs in ways that are relevant and interesting.

We believe that life change happens best in the context of relationships. We desire to see individuals come together to form lasting friendships and walk through life together.

God wired us for community.  When we belong to a life.group we belong to a community; a community that holds us accountable when we stray and encourages us to walk with Christ, a community that prays for us and holds us up when we are tired, a community that celebrates with us when we get it right, a community that gives us the desire to do the same for others.  When we belong to a life.group our lives are changed for the better!
