Is homosexuality an acceptable alternative lifestyle?  What is the Biblical response to homosexuality?  How should followers of Christ relate people who are gay/lesbian?
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

~ GRACE - God loves homosexuals!  So must the church!

~ TRUTH - Homosexual thoughts and actions are sins detestable abominations against God and nature.  The sinner must repent and forsake these sins.

    I.  People are not unacceptable to God, the sin is unacceptable to God.  God hates the sin and loves the sinner.  Romans 5:8

II.  The consequences of homosexuality are societal as well as individual.  Romans 1:24-27    Galatians 6 7-8

III.  No one is "made that way" by God.  Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:18-25, Matthew 19:4-6, Isaiah 55:8-9

IV.  Inclination/orientation comes about through a variety of factors, but inclination/orientation can be overcome.  1 Corinthians 10:12-13

1 Corinthians 6:9-11   "But you were cleansed..."

   V.  As with all sin, regardless of inclination, there is a choice.  The sinful thoughts and activity can be resisted.  1 Corinthians 13:1-13 and Ephesians 3:16-21
